The Royally RelaxinG Experience

Royally Relaxing is a faith-based, experiential self-care journey designed to help women step away from the stress of life and into the peaceful presence of God. Inspired by Philippians 4:7-8 and infused with the symbolism of natural elements like salt, oil, and aroma, this devotional workshop and workbook guide participants into the “secret place” — a space of spiritual rest, renewal, and empowerment.

Developed by Kelly Roberson, MA, LCMHCA – a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, a creative, and volunteer chaplain for natural disasters, Royally Relaxing weaves together scripture, personal stories, reflective journaling, and the use of a handmade body scrub to create a sensory-rich encounter with God that supports spiritual and emotional wellbeing through intimacy with God. Each ingredient in the scrub serves as a powerful analogy:

  • Salt – cleansing, healing, and preserving your spirit

  • Oil – set apart, peace, discernment, and joy through the Holy Spirit

  • Aroma – praise, forgiveness, the fragrance of Christ in daily life

Whether experienced in a group workshop or through personal devotion, Royally Relaxing helps women embrace their identity as daughters of the King, release the weight of striving, and walk away refreshed, restored, and royally at peace.
